April + May Reading List // What I'm Reading

April + May Reading List // What I'm Reading

My goal this year is to read 52 books in a year. It was also my goal last year and I made it to just over 30 books. Here's to trying again! Confession: I am already ten books behind. eek.

In an effort of accountability and my love of finding new books and stacking them all around my tiny house, I thought I would share what's stacked up on my desk currently.

If you've read one or all, please tell me your thoughts!

Women, Work and The Art of Savoir Faire - I am halfway through this gem and have loved reading from one badass woman's approach to professional life (although at times the book shows its age).

The Road Back to You - I am obsessing over the enneagram and Jake is over it. Seriously, so enlightening and at times hard to swallow, but I am loving this type of self-exploration.

Big Little Lies - I am making the attempt at reading this novel, before I watch the show.

The Desire Map - I read this completely months ago and now when I am thinking through goals, next steps or the desire for success I pick up Danielle's book and feel refreshed. 10/10 everyone needs this in their life.

Heart Berries - This is the current read on Emma Watson's book club, Our Shared Shelf. I have only read the introduction and my heart is broken and my mind is opened.

Alias Grace - I am rereading this and watching the show (on Netflix) as I go. If you love The Handmaid's Tale and love Margaret Atwood the way I do, a must read.

Everybody Always - Bob Goff has the most contagious laugh on the planet. Seriously. This gem just came out this week as a sequel to Love Does and I am so eager to dive straight in and learn from a man who lives what he writes.

The Nest - My sweet friend Kelly let me borrow this book MONTHS AGO (sorry Kelly) and I am just now beginning to open it.

whew, better get reading! Would also love to know what's on your to read list this month, let me know in the comments!

If you want to follow along more closely to my bookshelf, find me on Goodreads!
