Writer, editor, teacher, and creator based in Austin, TX. You can often find me writing and talking about culture, feminism, running, personal essays and the South. By nature a reader, writer, and an extrovert.

I write for a variety of publications including blogs, magazines, and more. With formal training and a focus on editorial writing, I know how to tell a compelling story. Working in a newsroom made me excellent at quick turnarounds and deadlines, as well as long-form writing and editing.

I write and edit for a variety of blogs and magazines. My blog, Here for the Crazy, was first born out of a need for a creative outlet and transformed into a place for a real conversation about life and embracing the crazy. But, I have the most fun in my weekly newsletter! I am always training for my next race while tackling the unending to-read stack next to my bed.
